1) Automated Computerized Solar Sun Simulator

DTH has recently commissioned computerized Solar Sun Simulator Class A conforming to IEC:60904-9 with PV reference module conforming to IEC 60904-2 with I-V characteristic measurement system with software conforming to IEC:60904-1 capable to test solar panels (PV Module) of size 2m x 1m traceable to NIST (National Institute of Standards and Technology).

Automated Computerized Solar Sun Simulator

Following test are carried out on solar PV panels as per IEC 61646:2008,
IEC 61215:2005 & IS 14286: 2010 & MNRE Specifications.

  • Maximum power determination,
  • Performance at STC condition,
  • Performance at low irradiation,
  • Measurement of temperature co-efficient,
  • Visual Inspection,
  • Insulation test

2) Automated Computerized Environmental Chamber

Automated Computerized Environmental Chamber

DTH has recently commissioned computerized Climatic Chamber with automatic temperature & Humidity control with computer interfacing capable for maintaining -40°C to 85°C at 85% RH to test solar panels (PV Module) of size 2m x 1m for Thermal cycling test and Humidity freeze cycle test.

The following tests are carried out on Solar PV Panels as per IEC 61646:2008, IEC 61215:2005 &IS 14286:2010.

  • Thermal cycling test
  • Humidity freeze cycle test

3) Automated Computerized Humidity Chamber

DTH has recently commissioned computerized Humidity Chamber for maintaining 85°C at 85% RH to test solar panels (PV Module) of size 2m x 1m for Damp Heat test.

The following tests to be carried out on Solar PV Panels as per IEC 61646 : 2008, IEC 61215 -2005, IS 14286-2010

  • Damp Heat test
  • Measurement of temperature coefficient

4) Computerized Spectral Flux Measurement System with 2MTR Dia. Integrator

Computerized Spectral flux Measurement system with 2MTR dia. Integrator for testing of CFL lamps, LED lamps & LED Luminaire with Solar Lantern, Solar Home Lighting System & Solar Street Lighting system as per MNRE Specifications:

  • Light output (lux),
  • Total Luminous flux(Lumens),

  • Colour Rendering Index, (CRI)

5) Computerized Goniophotometer along with software

The following parameters can be measured on street lighting using Goniophotometer:

  • Polar curves (C=0°, C=180°, C=90° & C=270° ),
  • Maximum intensity,
  • Data of Light intensity distribution in cd/ lux,
  • ISO candela diagram,
  • Average luminaire output in lumen: [Downward lumen & Upward lumen],
  • Light output ratio : [Downward light output ratio & Up ward light output ratio]

6) Computerized Programmable Life Cycle Tester for Solar Battery
